Our Approach
We consider how your identity, your family, and your community relate to your experience of the world and your self image. We judiciously use evidenced based treatments, both psychiatric medications and psychotherapy, to help you conceptualize and address your difficulties. As a group we have a wide range of experience and have worked with college students, professionals with substance use disorder, veterans, asylum seekers, and everyone in between. At our core, we provide a collaborative space for healing and introspection to process difficult questions and feelings.
Our Treatment
We integrate aspects of psychotherapy (talk therapy) within all of our work, including treatment that primarily focuses on psychiatric medication management. Most commonly, you will see a psychiatrist for medication management and a separate therapist for regular psychotherapy (split treatment). In some cases, you will see one of our psychiatrists for both medication management and regular psychotherapy.
We have specialized training in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Long COVID-19, insomnia, complementary and integrative medicine, addiction, personality disorders, adolescent psychiatry, attachment and childhood trauma and other areas of need.
We have a range of psychotherapy modalities of focus, including but not limited to mentalization based therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma therapy (narrative based), and cognitive behavioral therapy.
