• Rahul Vasireddy, M.D: Rahul completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and his medical education at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. His psychiatric residency was completed at the University of New Mexico, where he was a chief resident. At UPMC, he completed two fellowships in public psychiatry and addictions psychiatry. He participated in advanced therapy training through UPMC and the Veterans Health Administration.

  • Sylvia Boules, MD: Sylvia is a psychiatrist with deep experience in numerous child, adolescent, and adult psychiatric disorders

    She trained in the Bronx, New York, where sh treated a wide variety of illnesses and levels of severity. She came to Pittsburgh in 2019 and has been working in the outpatient setting with children and adolescents ever since. She enjoys a collaborative approach of including perspectives from families, patients, and schools to make an accurate and thorough diagnosis.

    A little about me: I was born in Egypt and came to the US as a baby, so I understand a lot about the cultural barriers when it comes to healthcare, especially mental health. I am fluent in Arabic and very in touch with my culture of origin! I look forward to meeting and working with you and your family!

  • Burt Singerman, MD, MPH: Burt is a psychiatrist with over 36 years of experience in numerous psychiatric disorders and psychiatric leadership. Dr. Singerman was educated at Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he obtained his medical degree and Master of Public Health, respectively, completed residencies at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Maudsley Hospital and a fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Singerman is the recipient of a Post-Doctoral Research Award from the National Institute of Mental Health and is a professional member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society, the Pittsburgh Psychiatric Society, the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

  • Luke Swider, MD: I am a board-certified psychiatrist who helps adults with depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and other mental health concerns attain a better quality of life. Together, we will work with the latest evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy to build a lasting connection and help you define and achieve your well-being goals.

    I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State University and my medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Following this, I completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and was granted board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. During residency, I obtained specialized training in the treatment of OCD, PTSD, Long COVID-19, insomnia, and complementary and integrative medicine; I also underwent additional training in psychotherapy. After residency, I obtained extensive experience treating patients via telemedicine and I continue to treat patients primarily in this format.

  • Yodit Betru, DSW, LCSW: Dr. Yodit Betru is a licensed clinical social worker. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of  Social Work  from the University of Oklahoma and doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been working with individuals and families for 17 years and specializes in the areas of trauma and racialized stress.  In her counseling work, she thinks about the person holistically and considers how a person’s identity, family, political, and community context impact how they are experiencing pain and joy.  Her therapeutic approaches are culturally and racially sensitive. She uses trauma informed approaches to help people feel connected to their mind, body, and  community.
